Website content writing

The right content elements

Website content writing is done to create pages and posts. Pages are usually of a relatively permanent nature, like About and Contact Us pages. Posts are what make up your blog content: you regularly add new posts to your blog… you should, anyway. You can consider a blog as a whole to be a book, and posts as the chapters that make up that book.

Here are some tips on writing a blog post the right way.

Writing a blog: quality content

There is really no limit to the number of topics a blog can be built around, but all good blog posts share a few key features. Here is some input on how to write a blog post.

I come across a lot of admonitions about using proper grammar and spelling when writing a blog. I agree with the spelling part, but I have my doubts about the grammar part.

Do you know that Google is much more than a search engine? That there is a whole range of Google products and services?

Just a word about Google search engine peculiarities.

Much as you appreciate the steps taken by search engines to enhance search experience, at times you do get almighty pissed off at the more negative byproducts of these steps—especially those by Google. Quite often, I am baffled by how Google works. I wish Google would publish some “How to use Google search engine without getting unnecessarily reprimanded” articles.

SEO and Google

SEO techniques are constantly undergoing changes. Once upon a time, SEO meant meta tags and loaded keyword density in content that catered to then-existing Google search engine optimization guidelines. That particular aspect of SEO gave birth to a whole generation of spam artists, spam victims and spam consequences.

The consequences came up when the search engines woke up. When we talk about SEO and search engine actions and reactions, we are mainly talking about Google search engine submission. This is not to cast any aspersions on other search engines; it is just to emphasize the fact that Google is so predominant: the 800 pound King Kong with a chip on its shoulder. A spell of Google “slapping” leads to more (online) carnage than the Trojan War.
